Umbrabyte operates zero remote user databases, requires no user account or sign-in, includes zero third-party advertising networks or behavioral trackers, and never sells or shares personal data. Data only leaves your device when Google Play Billing or Apple App Store In-App Purchase processes an optional PRO unlock or when you contact customer support directly.

• 100% On-Device DSP Audio Synthesis (44.1 kHz PCM16): All carrier tones, binaural frequency offsets, isochronic modulation envelopes, pink/brown noise beds, and organic nature soundscapes are synthesized and mixed locally in real time on your device processor. No listening habits or audio streams are recorded or uploaded.
• No Account or Registration Required: Every session, custom frequency preset, timer, and multi-day ritual works immediately without creating an account, profile, or providing an email address.
• Zero Ads & Zero Behavioral Tracking: NeuroHz contains zero advertising SDKs and zero cross-app analytics or attribution trackers.
• No Sale or Commercialization of Data: Umbrabyte never sells, rents, or trades user personal information.
• Wellness & Acoustic Safety Disclaimer: NeuroHz is a mindfulness, focus, and relaxation audio utility—not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or neurological condition. Users with a history of epilepsy, seizures, or auditory sensitivity should consult a physician before using brainwave entrainment tones and should avoid listening while driving or operating machinery.

3. Data and permissions

3.1 Information stored locally on your device

All local data is permanently erased when you clear application data in system settings or uninstall NeuroHz.

3.2 System permissions & hardware access

NeuroHz does not request access to your microphone, camera, contacts, precise location, or photo library.

4. External services

• Zero Umbrabyte Cloud Servers: We do not operate backend servers that receive your listening sessions, presets, or wellness routines.
• Google Play Billing & Apple StoreKit: Optional purchases are processed directly by Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited or Apple Inc. under their respective privacy policies (Google Privacy Policy, Apple Privacy Policy). Umbrabyte never receives your payment card details.

5. Purposes and legal bases

Under GDPR Article 6 and Spanish LOPDGDD:

• Local DSP playback and journey tracking: Performance of the service requested by the user (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Purchase verification & statutory tax records: Performance of a contract and compliance with fiscal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) & Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Customer support inquiries: Legitimate interest and contractual assistance (Art. 6(1)(f) & Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

6. Retention and deletion

• On-device progress and presets: Retained exclusively on your device until you reset progress, clear app storage, or uninstall the application.
• Support emails: Retained for up to 3 years from the last communication to resolve technical inquiries.
• Store transaction records: Retained by Google Play / Apple App Store in accordance with mandatory 5 to 10-year tax laws.

7. Security

NeuroHz isolates all local data inside the operating system’s hardware-backed application sandbox, disables unencrypted third-party telemetry, and communicates with official app store billing APIs exclusively over TLS 1.3 / HTTPS.

8. Rights worldwide

We honor your statutory privacy rights under GDPR / LOPDGDD (EU/Spain), UK GDPR, CCPA / CPRA (California/USA), LGPD (Brazil), PIPEDA (Canada), Privacy Act 1988 (Australia), APPI (Japan), and PIPA (South Korea), including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.
